Peter Warren Automotive Holdings, one of Australia's largest automotive dealer groups, seeks a dedicated Health and Safety Specialist to join its team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment across multiple locations.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in implementing effective health and safety policies and procedures. As a key member of the organization's health and safety team, you will be responsible for conducting regular site inspections, risk assessments, and investigating incidents. Your expertise will also be utilized to provide education and training to employees, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.
To excel in this position, you will require:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in health and safety, preferably within a similar industry setting.
- A recognized health and safety qualification, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, enabling you to effectively advise on compliance and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders.
