Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and ambitious Welding Supervisor/Inspector to lead and coordinate welding operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Allocate projects to available resources and ensure timely completion
  • Monitor weld consumables and maintain quality standards
  • Provide training where required and assist the team in achieving production goals
  • Coordinate with project and workshop managers to meet schedules
Technical Requirements:
  • Proficiency in multiple welding processes (GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, PTAW) and exotic materials
  • Hands-on experience in welding small, medium, and large weldments and fabrications
  • Knowledge of ISO 3834 and ability to conduct audits
  • Proficiency in MS Office - Excel and Word
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of ASME, AS/NZS, AWS, and ISO standards
  • Experience leading a team of tradespeople and apprentices
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of hands-on experience in welding processes and fabrication
  • Demonstrated experience leading and coordinating a team
  • Proven experience in project allocation and resource management
