This role involves developing and executing strategies to engage key Advisers, Dealer Groups, and Researchers to support market growth.
About the Position- Responsible for a portion of the net flow in the NSW or VIC market.
- Source leads and new business, maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities to meet our net flow goals.
- Map adviser practices to the growing asset consultant gatekeeper channel, ensuring top-down and bottom-up connectivity.
- Grow revenue across priority funds.
- Generate leads and insights from centres of influence, including platforms and asset consultants.
- Identify high-quality leads for asset consultants and explore opportunities for investment solutions.
- Manage end-to-end relationships and business development with top small to medium-sized AFSLs in the NSW market.
- Assist in building support for fund ratings, platform additions, APL additions, and model additions.
- Relevant tertiary or industry qualifications (FINSIA, DFP).
- Minimum 3 years of business development experience.
- Solid understanding of the funds management industry, including investment management.
- Strong technical investment/market knowledge across multiple asset classes.
- Sales/account management experience and understanding of the role of the financial planner.
- Ability to drive technical investment interactions to enhance sales opportunities.
- Passion for building businesses - both for Advisors and their clients.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence.
