Job Overview

This role focuses on ensuring effective preventative and reactive maintenance, as well as overseeing minor works projects.

  1. Proactively support site maintenance staff in the delivery of facility maintenance services, including workforce planning, on-call rostering, leave management, and performance management.
  2. Manage enterprise-wide maintenance contracts.
  3. Develop and manage annual operational expenses and capital replacement budgets for plant and equipment.
  4. Ensure appropriate statutory and preventative maintenance records are generated and stored electronically and available for audit by government authorities.
  5. Monitor site maintenance compliance through periodic desktop audits of maintenance records, physical site inspections, and interviews with internal stakeholders and external contractors.
About You
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a team, providing strategic direction, and engaging with stakeholders.
  • Sound financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Working knowledge of domestic or commercial construction practices or facility maintenance procedures.
  • Relevant degree or trade qualification in construction, building maintenance, contract administration, or significant demonstrable experience deemed equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to participate in rotating on-call and after-hours emergency response rosters across all sites in the property portfolio.
