Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Maintenance Coordinator to join our Property Development & Assets team. This role focuses on ensuring effective preventative and reactive maintenance, overseeing minor works projects, and leading stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively support site maintenance staff in the delivery of facility maintenance services, including workforce planning, on-call rostering, leave management, and performance management.
  • Manage enterprise-wide maintenance contracts to ensure optimal results.
  • Develop and manage annual operational and capital expenditure budgets for maintenance services and plant/equipment replacement.
  • Maintain accurate statutory and preventative maintenance records, generating and storing them electronically for easy audit by relevant authorities.
  • Conduct regular desktop audits, physical site inspections, and interviews with internal stakeholders and external contractors to monitor site maintenance compliance.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams, providing strategic direction, and engaging stakeholders.
  • Sound financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Working knowledge of domestic or commercial construction practices or facility maintenance procedures.
  • Relevant degree or trade qualification in construction, building maintenance, contract administration, or significant demonstrable experience deemed equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to participate in rotating on-call and after-hours emergency response rosters across all sites.
  • Interstate and intrastate travel requirements may apply.
