The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on risk professional to develop and implement best-practice risk and continuity frameworks across a national organisation with a strong social purpose. Our goal is to create vibrant, safe communities for all Australians.

Your Impact
  • Develop and embed our Enterprise Risk Management Framework, including the Risk Appetite Statement and divisional and enterprise risk registers.
  • Facilitate engaging risk and resilience workshops, as well as training and scenario-based planning sessions across all business functions.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, actionable risk reporting and insights to key stakeholders, including our General Manager – Risk and Safety, Executive Leadership Team, and the Board.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of a whole-of-business Business Resilience Framework, encompassing business continuity and crisis management planning.
  • Champion a culture of risk awareness and resilience by delivering tailored training and effective communication across the organisation.
What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, with at least 3 years ideally in enterprise risk management or within a leading consulting firm.
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law, Risk, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Experience in property, real estate, accommodation, or aged care sectors is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, influence, and build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, with sound business judgment.
  • A high level of integrity, adaptability, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including report and business writing.
