**Job Description:**

We seek a detail-oriented Customs Compliance Specialist to join our professional team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop advanced customs knowledge, with a clear path toward mastering classification skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate customs entries through thorough evaluation and compilation.
  • Coordinate customs clearance documentation with overseas agents, customers, and internal teams.
  • Monitor transshipment movements and update details in the CargoWise One (CW1) system.
  • Verify and process packing declarations.
  • Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customers, and internal staff to ensure seamless operations.
  • Execute pre-clearances within specified deadlines.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customs compiling or classification role.
  • Completion of or enrollment in a Diploma of Customs Broking.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and requirements.
  • A proactive, organized, and efficient work style.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to manage deadlines effectively.
  • Experience with CargoWise (highly regarded).
  • Full Australian working rights.

Benefits:

You can expect a negotiable salary based on your experience, ranging from AU$60,000 to AU$80,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and performance.
