About the Role: We are seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining effective and consistent application of compliance activities across our service delivery.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supporting the development of risk and compliance procedures, plans, tools, and training materials
- Assisting the Risk and Compliance Advisor to maintain and update compliance information systems
- Monitoring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Preparing reports on compliance activities and findings
- Maintaining accurate records of compliance activities
You Will Need:
- Experience delivering risk and compliance activities within a community services environment
- Ability to read and interpret legislation and industry standards and provide advice to inform organisational compliance with obligations
- Understanding of risk and compliance within the disability and aged care sectors, including the mandatory reporting of incidents and other sensitive data to external regulatory bodies
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise with staff and other stakeholders
- Relevant community service qualifications or relevant working experience
- Current driver's license with regular access to a vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to apply
- QLD Working with Children's Check or willingness to apply
