Job Description

As a skilled Culinary Professional, you will play a pivotal role in our esteemed Fat Noodle Kitchen. This is an exceptional opportunity to create unforgettable dining experiences that leave a lasting impression on every guest.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting or leading assigned sections as directed by the Sous Chef and providing training to junior staff members
  • Assisting with fundamental cooking and food preparation tasks
  • Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations
  • Completing all duties in line with company and statutory hygiene requirements
  • Meeting requirements for consistency and high quality in a fast-paced environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you should possess:

  • Culinary School Graduate with received apprenticeship training in Pastry
  • Proficiency with diverse food preparation techniques and cooking equipment
  • 2 years of experience post-apprenticeship in food preparation, preferably in a café, hotel, or high-volume setting, with strong communication skills and understanding of relevant liquor laws
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
