Job Title: Executive Culinary Manager

Overview

Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour is a luxury hotel that offers an unparalleled guest experience. As a member of our team, you will be immersed in a world of exceptional privileges and bespoke rewards.

You will have the opportunity to work with a talented kitchen brigade and contribute to the creation of innovative, quality food that meets Brand Standard guidelines. You will also be responsible for ensuring the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained by the entire Kitchen brigade.

Responsibilities
  • Hands on management of Banqueting operations on a day to day basis
  • Work with the kitchen brigade to ensure food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques meet Brand Standard guidelines
  • Create menu's and manage recipe costing inclusive of outlet menus, seasonal menus and special event menus
  • Cultivate a positive work environment where learning and personal development are benchmarks
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in Commercial Cookery
  • Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Able to work a rotating roster including weekends & public holidays
