Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Enrichment Teacher to join our team. As a key member of the Learning Enrichment Team, you will provide essential support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring personalised learning plans and tailored interventions to promote academic success.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Conduct regular assessments, including diagnostic and standardised testing, to monitor student progress and inform instructional strategies.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to implement tailored educational strategies that meet individual student needs.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents, guardians, and external specialists to ensure a collaborative approach to student support and wellbeing.
  • Provide direct learning support to students across all grade levels (K-12), addressing academic, social, and emotional challenges through targeted interventions and strategies.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in special education, distance learning, and learning enrichment strategies.
  • Assist students in developing positive behaviours, self-regulation, and emotional resilience, adapting strategies to suit the online learning environment.
  • Assist in the management of the Nationally Consistent Collection Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD).
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • An active Christian faith.
  • Suitable qualifications and/or experience in administration or teaching.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to receive feedback and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A current Employee Working With Children Check.
