Located in the North West corridor of Sydney, ACC Marsden Park is a K-12 co-educational school situated in a thriving semi-rural area. With over 1300 on-campus students and 700 via Distance Education, we offer a dynamic learning environment that fosters growth and development.

Our College-Wide Teaching and Learning framework is built around three Signature Pedagogies: Explicit Direct Instruction, Specific Targeted Feedback, and Thinking Through Writing. These approaches are informed by Cognitive Load Theory and influenced by renowned educators such as Hollingsworth, Ybarra, Lemov, Hochman, and Wexler.

Job Description

We seek two full-time Learning Enrichment Teachers Aides for a 12-month maternity leave cover, commencing January 2025. As a member of the Learning Enrichment Team, you will provide essential support to students, classroom teachers, and staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in delivering evidence-based intervention programs, including MultiLit and other structured literacy and numeracy support programs.
  • Working closely with students to improve foundational skills and help them reach targeted academic milestones.
  • Supporting classroom teachers by providing additional attention to students needing guidance, fostering an inclusive and productive learning environment.
  • Communicating regularly with teachers and the Head of Learning Enrichment K-12 to share observations, update on student progress, and adapt interventions as necessary.
  • Providing direct learning support to students across all grade levels (K-12), addressing academic, social, and emotional challenges through targeted interventions and strategies.

Salary $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including salary packaging, employee assistance program, and WHEREFIT fitness & wellbeing benefits.
