We're currently seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Shipping & Receiving Specialist. This role is responsible for supporting all receipt, dispatch, and related activities in our warehouse facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, storing, handling, packaging, and shipping inventory at the warehouse facility
  • Lifting and carrying cartons weighing up to 35 lbs, utilising available safety tools
  • Placing parts in their designated location after verifying part numbers
  • Utilising a utility cart, identifying cartons by part number, using a computer or laptop, performing cycle counts, and operating a hand scanner and PC
  • Picking and filling orders using a laptop computer or hand scanner. Printing and batching pick tickets, and preparing warehouse pull and return
  • Loading and off-loading material to/from delivery trucks, sorting, reconciling, entering information into the ERP system, and preparing for counting processes
  • Matching paperwork to boxes and preparing orders for billing and shipping
  • Relocating items between the office and warehouse as required, managing contractors to relocate large items
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in international shipping and warehousing
  • Previous experience in receiving and dispatching goods and services
  • Experience in operating material handling equipment
  • Ability to lift and carry cartons weighing up to 35 lbs, utilising available safety tools
  • Fluent English language skills, including reading, writing, and speaking
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • A current valid driver's license with a clean driving record (where applicable)
  • Ability to stand and walk on cement floors for extended periods throughout the workday
  • Attention to detail, efficiency, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commitment to WHS policies and procedures
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn
