Child Trauma Recovery Specialist

The Therapeutic Specialist role is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires dedication and expertise to support the recovery of children and young people who have experienced trauma. This individual will be responsible for providing clinical leadership within each Therapeutic Foster Care team, working closely with carers and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care.
Key responsibilities include conducting therapeutic assessments, developing personalized plans, and delivering clinical consultations. The successful candidate will also provide coaching and training to carers and staff in best practice approaches, as well as leading reflective practice sessions and contributing to care team planning.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and experience in working with vulnerable populations. A Master's degree in Psychology or a related field is required, along with eligibility for registration with the relevant professional association. In addition, the ability to work effectively with volunteer carers and manage complex relationships is essential.
