Retail Team Manager Job Description

Job Overview

This role involves overseeing a team of merchandisers and replenishers. You will be responsible for leading the team to carry out tasks required by clients, communicating with management on project progress and end project sign-off.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of staff in the execution of client plans, including health and safety inductions and checks.
  • Communicate effectively with management on project progress and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
  • Work on different retail customer sites stores and travel may vary on a shift-by-shift basis.
  • Remove and replace stock using client plans and systems.
  • Adjust shelf heights and move stock from warehouse to shop floor.
  • Stock replenishment and manual handling may be involved.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and decision-making ability.
  • Previous experience in Merchandising, Retail Supervision or managing people.
  • Methodical approach and keen attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving and can-do attitude.
  • Able to work unsociable hours including early mornings and nights.
