Security Compliance Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Security Compliance Manager to join our Aviation team.

  • Maintain Transport Security Program, including mapping, version control, and accuracy to regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop, update or establish security policy.
  • Account for all Standard Operating Procedures required to meet compliance with Australian Transport Security Regulations and the Australian Transport Security Act.
  • Identify and manage Security Alerts. Produce, distribute, and maintain a register of alerts.
  • Ensure compliance with APAM's Transport Security obligations and guarantee timely practices.
  • Collect and submit data, reporting, responses, and evidence from security providers and stakeholders.
  • Manage Airfield Tenant Screening data capture and ensure Airside Entry Verification (AEV) Compliance.
Requirements:
  • Strong ability to create, store, and recall documents, as well as version control.
  • Tertiary qualification in Aviation, Security, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in aviation, security, operations, or compliance-related fields.
  • Effective communication skills, with demonstrated ability to develop written and verbal briefs.
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting and implementing relevant aviation security legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to convey complex regulatory issues.
  • Strong problem-solving ability through detailed understanding of regulations, operations, and security risk management.
  • Work within a multi-disciplined team to achieve Airport Security goals.
  • Promote a proactive safety and security culture.
