Key Roles and Responsibilities:

This position requires a highly skilled tradesperson to support our facilities maintenance team at Westmead Hospital.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Maintaining equipment, tools and facilities in good working order.
  • Providing technical support to trade staff in daily operational tasks.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, legislation and safety standards.
  • Contributing to efficient asset management practices.

Selection Criteria:
  • Demonstrated experience using power tools and machinery.
  • Demonstrated experience following safe work procedures such as working at heights.
  • Proven ability to work within a multi-disciplinary environment and familiarity with standard trade terminology.
  • Ability to prioritise and undertake work in a busy environment with limited supervision.
