Troocoo is seeking a skilled Change Communications Specialist to play a pivotal role in our client's transformation journey. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a short period, working directly with the CEO and C-suite executives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic communication plan for the divestment of underperforming services. This will involve working closely with the CEO, Senior Project Manager, HR, Operations, and Legal teams to ensure clear, effective communication both internally and externally.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing high-volume, people-centric change projects, particularly in the context of divestments or acquisitions within the sector. They will also have excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage challenging conversations and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing a strategic communication plan for the divestment of underperforming services.
  • Leading communications related to people change projects, managing confidential, high-pressure situations with sensitivity and precision.
  • Collaborating with sales brokers and legal teams to ensure that external messages regarding divestments are clear, aligned, and strategic.
  • Ensuring that all internal communications are carefully timed and managed to avoid creating unnecessary challenges, particularly regarding sensitive divestment and acquisition activities.
  • Supporting area managers and state managers across various sites, primarily on the East Coast (NSW, VIC, QLD), by facilitating key discussions and negotiations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing high-volume, people-centric change projects, particularly in the context of divestments or acquisitions within the sector.
  • Ability to navigate and communicate effectively in a rapidly changing environment, with a strong understanding of privacy considerations and legal implications.
  • Willingness to travel to various sites as part of the change plan, with a focus on key discussions and support.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage challenging conversations and stakeholders.
