Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of Java Spring Boot applications for large insurance and banking customers
  • Manage and support legacy-based and AWS-based applications
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for optimization and cost savings for clients and revenue generation for Cognizant
  • Collaborate with customers to enhance and automate systems and applications
  • Implement continuous service improvements across the portfolio, focusing on automation and performance enhancement
  • Manage heterogeneous technology teams, including QA, DEVOPS, DEV, and Support
  • Implement various ticket-saving activities to reduce costs for clients
  • Successfully implement alert enhancement processes to stabilize application support
  • Test automation implementation using Jenkins and other deployment tools
  • Application security monitoring using alert integration of Splunk and Dynatrace

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Applens, ServiceNow, and JIRA
  • Hands-on experience in Java Spring Boot framework
  • Expert knowledge of rolling out and managing ITIL framework
  • Knowledge of AWS concepts, including instance monitoring and health checks
  • Real-time experience in implementing and managing applications in cloud environments
  • Expert knowledge in Splunk and Dynatrace alert creation and handling
  • Hands-on experience in SQL database, strong knowledge to maintain RDS and Dynamo DB in AWS
  • Real-time experience in deploying and managing Jenkins jobs and pipelines
  • Excellent skills to handle production incidents and service tasks from customers
  • Good experience in handling AWS vulnerabilities, application code (Xray) vulnerabilities
  • Good hands-on experience in running P1 and P2 production issues
  • ITIL
  • IBM Blue MIX Developer Certification

Salary Range

$100,000+
