Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Banking Operations Manager to join our team in Belconnen. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring efficient and effective management of our customers' banking needs.

The key focus areas of this role include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and support, including face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and online communications.
  • Exploring new opportunities to enhance our customers' financial well-being and recommend relevant banking and insurance solutions.
  • Assisting with the completion and management of daily operational and compliance requirements.
  • Coaching and developing staff members to achieve their full potential and drive business growth.
  • Contributing to product and service initiatives to improve customer experiences and drive revenue growth.
  • Processing personal loan applications and other financial transactions.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience working in banking or retail/customer service environments, with a strong track record of delivering excellent results and a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • A genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating positive experiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Supervisory/team leader experience, with a desire to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the growth and success of the team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team, demonstrating initiative, care, and attention to detail in your work.
