About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to support individuals with complex needs.

This rewarding role involves providing therapeutic supports, working collaboratively to develop and implement positive behaviour support plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting individuals in identifying their needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
  • Evaluating, developing, and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space.
  • Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies as per the positive behaviour support framework.
  • Ensuring individual plans reflect participants' goals, passions, and strengths.
  • Building the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family, carers, friends, etc.

This role requires:

Requirements
  • Current suitability at Core, Proficient or Advanced level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
  • Considerable experience providing support to people with behaviours of concern (professionally and/or personally).
  • Completed a degree-level qualification as an allied health professional is desired.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
  • A proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas.
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
