Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in a key role on the largest infrastructure project in South East Queensland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and commissioning systems, including Station 11 kV High Voltage Installations, Station and tunnel earthing and bonding, and Station low voltage Installations. They will also serve as the HV Authority to ensure compliance with processes and procedures.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills and experience in setting up and testing a new underground railway system. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant testing and commissioning experience.

In this role, you will be working on a high-profile project that will leave a lasting legacy for the city of Brisbane. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing and commissioning systems
  • Serving as the HV Authority
  • Setting up and testing a new underground railway system
  • Preparing management plans and test scripts
  • Applying standards and processes throughout the test and commissioning engineering life cycle

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant testing and commissioning experience
  • Registration as a practicing RPEQ engineer
  • Postgraduate qualifications in high voltage installations and management desirable
