We're building the future of Queensland's transportation infrastructure.

Our team is working on a large-scale project, developing Cross River Rail, which will revolutionize the way people travel in Brisbane. The 10.2 kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills includes 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD, as well as four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Boggo Road and Woolloongabba.

All project sites and offices are based in inner city Brisbane, offering an attractive work-life balance amidst a thriving urban environment. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a project that will leave a lasting legacy for the city of Brisbane.

The role involves commissioning high voltage systems, including Station 11 kV High Voltage Installations, Station and tunnel earthing and bonding, and Station low voltage Installations. As the HV Authority, you will ensure compliance with relevant processes and procedures. Your experience in setting up and testing underground railway systems will be invaluable in this role.

You will be responsible for:

  • Commissioning high voltage systems to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Developing management plans, sub-plans, and test scripts.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in testing and commissioning electrical systems.
  • Registration as a practicing RPEQ engineer.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in high voltage installations and management are desirable.
