Electrical Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. As an electrical installation specialist, you will be responsible for the installation and termination of high voltage cables through underground conduit.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will work on various electrical projects, including the installation of high voltage cables, termination of cabling, and interconnection of cabling in high voltage switch rooms and substations.
  • You will be required to handle ABB and free-issued materials, install cable ladders, and perform civil works as needed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install and terminate high voltage cables through underground conduit.
  • Perform interconnection of cabling in high voltage switch rooms and substations.
  • Handle and manage materials, including ABB and free-issued items.
  • Install cable ladders and perform civil works as necessary.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrician in an industrial electrical setting is essential.
  • Excellent attitude towards safety and adherence to industry standards.
  • Prior experience in high voltage settings is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Flexibility with work arrangements is also important.
Licences and Certifications
  • Trade Certification/AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
  • QLD Electrical License
  • EWP High Risk Work License
  • Working at Heights Certificate within the past 2 years
  • LVR/CPR Certificate within the past 12 months
  • White Construction Card
  • C Class Driver's License
  • National Police Clearance
