Job Title: National Injury Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead a small team of Health and Wellbeing Advisors in implementing early intervention strategies, managing issues and risks, and driving improvements in injury management performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a small team of health and wellbeing advisors to implement effective early intervention strategies and drive improvements in injury management performance metrics.
  • Drive enhanced return-to-work measures through supporting a broader team of Health and Wellbeing Advisors who specialise in injury management and return-to-work outcomes for injured team members.
  • Provide expert advice by identifying complex issues, patterns, and trends and making recommendations for alternative return-to-work strategies that improve injury management outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment of the health and wellbeing team to provide streamlined and best-practice injury management support to injured team members.
  • Collaborate with State Safety Managers to provide leadership, coaching, and specialist advice to health and wellbeing advisors and senior leaders on complex workers' compensation claims, return-to-work matters, and adverse injury management performance.
  • Monitor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide practical guidance on achieving improvement targets set.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in leading teams and implementing injury management strategies.
  • Strong understanding of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
