About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Regional Business Development Specialist to join our team in South Australia. This is a unique opportunity to build strong relationships with rural retailers and key stakeholders in the agricultural industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximise sales revenue, margin, and volume of rural products through extensive contact with end users, distributors, and influencers.
  • Develop sales plans to achieve targets and monitor market trends.
  • Influence large contractors, end users, and stakeholders by articulating product benefits, demonstrating products, and providing training.
  • Prepare proposals and detailed costings, considering environmental factors and encouraging the purchase of higher-margin products.
Requirements:
  • A robust understanding of the Australian agricultural industry and proven sales experience.
  • An agricultural-related qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • A passion for farming is essential, and the ability to deliver effective presentations to individuals and groups.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude and drive to succeed.
  • Extensive training in the demonstration of Waratah products will be provided.
