Job Summary:

We are seeking a Production Team Lead to oversee daily operations in our food processing facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring all activities are safe, efficient, and compliant with food quality standards.

In this leadership role, you will champion a safety-first culture, uphold food quality standards, meet daily operational targets, promote continuous improvement, lead a diverse team, and foster a positive workplace culture.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily production activities across various seafood products, from raw to cooked formats
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to workplace safety protocols
  • Oversee compliance with HACCP, SQF, and other critical control processes
  • Monitor productivity and resolve process issues effectively
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and escalate them to management
  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and accountability to team members
  • Foster open communication and collaboration among team members
Requirements:
  • Safety and Quality Focus: Strong commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment and upholding food quality standards
  • Leadership Style: Open, honest, and dependable leadership style with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Teamwork: Respectful and team-oriented mindset with ability to build and maintain internal working relationships
  • Experience: Previous experience supervising teams in a food or manufacturing environment, familiarity with safety systems and compliance frameworks
