If so, this is your opportunity to live, work and play a short drive from stunning coastlines, scenic trails, magnificent jarrah forests and the food and wine heartland of the South-West and Peel Regions of Western Australia.Our integrated Bauxite Mine, Alumina Refinery and Port Operation is creating the essential products needed for a sustainable low carbon future and is on a journey to become the world's leading Alumina producer where our 1500+ workforce value the lifestyle that Worsley Alumina has to offer.WHAT SOUTH32 OFFERSCompetitive salaries including Short-Term Incentive BonusAdditional employer superannuation contributions which depend on the level of employee contributions you choose.Participation in the Employee Share PlanFlexible working arrangements and industry leading parental leave and family care policyABOUT THE ROLEThis role is a Permanent position on a 4 Panel Continuous shift, DIDO to our Worsley Alumina Refinery,which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury and other nearby scenic communities.As there is No Camp onsite this role is offered DIDO only.As the Operator Refinery Process you will be responsible for safely execute production activities according to the schedule and operate the physical assets, plant and equipment as defined by HSEC requirements, the operations standards and operating procedures.Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:Demonstrate commitment and conformance to safe work practices and procedures.Understand Job scope and competency required, , job hazards and timeframe.Update routines and check sheets & Complete handover log.Provide quality handover with integrity.Conduct personal risk assessment for taskFollow procedures for tasks and identify improvements.ABOUT YOUYou will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:Has previously worked in a team and has contributed to projects.Understand root cause of emergent work.Conduct personal risk assessment for task.Good verbal and communication skills.Follow procedures for tasks and identify improvements.Be safety orientated.Qualifications for the role;Holds Certificate III in Process Plant Manufacturing or a minimum of 5 years' experience as an operator in a minerals/oil/gas process plant environment.Has previously worked in a team and has contributed to projects.South32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
