Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for processing and pasteurising milk and dairy products.You will have a strong focus on quality and safety and be able to work as part of an effective team.
You will have proactive and positive attitude with the ability to deliver high quality work.
Previous experience in machine or process operation such as pasteurisation, homogenisers and separators, in the food industry is highly regarded, but not essential.Key responsibilities of the role are:Operate pasteurisers, homogenisers, and separatorsMaintain hygiene and perform CIP cleaning of equipmentComplete quality and safety documentation accuratelyFormulate dairy products to meet specificationsMinimise waste and report faults or defective productsSupport product development and processing trialsThe successful candidate will have:Experience in machine or process operations, ideally in the food or dairy industry.Solid understanding of GMP and HACCP principles.Basic knowledge of SAP and CITEC (desirable, not essential).
