Drive Strategic Projects

The role of Project Manager requires a unique blend of leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills to drive the successful delivery of projects across our business applications and wider technology initiatives.

As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in developing strategic plans, managing cross-functional teams, and fostering effective stakeholder engagement.

A strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks is essential for navigating complex project landscapes and ensuring timely delivery. You will be responsible for coordinating resources, scheduling activities, and managing budgets to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Align project goals with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, resource allocation, and budget forecasts.
  • Negotiate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.
  • Document Management – maintain accurate records of project documentation and ensure centralized storage within project directories.
  • Produce project initiation documents outlining project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Communicate acceptance criteria and project expectations to stakeholders.
  • Manage project spend to ensure adherence to approved budgets and forecast financial outcomes.
  • Assess project progress against planned milestones and adjust strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • Certification in Project Management (Agile, Prince2 and/or PMBOK).
  • Over 10 years of experience in end-to-end project management.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex digital projects that bring significant change to the organization.
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience at multiple levels.
  • Effective management of discovery, scoping, estimation activities, and development of delivery schedules.
  • Expertise in executing project delivery plans, scope, and managing project resource activities, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Experienced in managing project risks, issues, and mitigation activities to ensure project deadlines, scope, and quality measures are achieved.
