Job Title: Facilities Director

Job Summary:

Oversee the day-to-day facilities services at a major healthcare site in Garran, ensuring compliance with high standards and driving a culture of safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead facilities operations to ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and audit requirements are met.
  • Manage client relationships, respond to urgent requests, and escalate issues effectively.
  • Develop and deliver reports on compliance and KPI performance.
  • Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, focusing on quality workmanship and adherence to regulations.
  • Support minor projects, scope, and contractor management.
  • Promote a safe, collaborative team environment and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification and 1-3+ years' experience in FM or maintenance management.
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure environments with competing priorities.
  • Experience in compliance, audit preparation, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • National Police Clearance.
