Job Description

UGL is seeking a suitably qualified Maintenance Planner to support operations on a well-established LNG plant.

This role will commence on site as soon as possible. You will be a local resident and work a 5/2 roster.

As a Maintenance Planner, you will plan and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.

You will utilize your expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and fabrication trades, along with your proficiency in a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), to maintain the technical integrity and production of our plant.

  • Develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules for electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Utilize CMMS to manage work orders and maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Use SAP, Prometheus, Oracle, Primavera P6, MS Excel, and MS Project to create and manage schedules and reports.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and execution of maintenance plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A mechanical or electrical trade qualification.
  • Proficiency in the use of CMMS.
  • Experience with SAP (preferred), Prometheus (preferred), Oracle, Primavera P6, MS Excel, and MS Project.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
