Project Finance Specialist

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a newly formed team at a pivotal moment and play a central role in originating and executing transactions, leading the credit submission process, and building relationships across the market.

The role involves leading the origination, structuring, and execution of project finance transactions with a focus on renewables and infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

  • Originating and executing transactions, ensuring compliance and providing ongoing client support.
  • Leading client pitches and cross-border deal teams, collaborating with colleagues across global locations and product areas.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, advisors, and industry stakeholders.

Key skills and qualifications required for this position include:

  • Minimum 10 years of project finance experience, with significant exposure to the Australian renewables sector.
  • Well-established local network across key players in the Australian project finance market, including lenders, advisors, developers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Solid industry knowledge across renewables and infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead complex transactions and generate compelling pitch materials.
  • Excellent financial modelling, credit analysis, and credit writing skills.
  • Strong communication, inclusive leadership, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Proactive, client-focused, and results-driven, with high integrity and risk awareness.
  • Experience managing cross-border transactions and working with multidisciplinary teams.
