Job Opportunity: Data Strategy Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our data strategy efforts in Canberra.

About the Role:

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to utilize your skills and expertise in big data, data engineering, and AI/ML to drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective data strategies that meet client needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver data solutions
  • Provide technical guidance on big data platforms such as Cloudera, MapR, Hortonworks
  • Ensure timely delivery of end-to-end MLOPS workloads
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in big data and AI/ML

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in big data, data engineering, Apache Spark, Presto, Kubeflow, MLFlow
  • Experience working with cloud-based platforms and Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Contract Details:

This is a minimum 12 months contract with potential extension. We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.
