Job Opportunity

A Rail Project Engineer is required to provide input and oversight to pre-planning and construction delivery to achieve project time and budget objectives.

Successfully lead the project delivery process and drive completion of work in accordance with requirements. Deliver works that fully satisfy expectations of time, cost, safety and environmental objectives.

Manage site subcontractors and suppliers to complete projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and fulfill obligations for construction in line with procedures, relevant codes and standards, and industry best practice.
  • Review and arrange approval designs as construction progresses.
  • Accountable for all construction management to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications.
  • Implement quality assurance systems and processes required to fulfill (construction) requirements.
  • Any task directed by line management inline with experience and skillset.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Structures).
  • Chartered Engineering Status, working towards, or with intention to apply.
  • Rail Infrastructure Workers Card 'RIW', plus relevant track access competencies.
  • NSW Construction Industry Safety Induction 'White Card'.
  • Current Class 1 (Minimum) Driving License.
  • 3-7 years' post graduate experience with 1+ years site based.
  • Demonstrated delivery of minor/major projects to program and budget specifications in a leadership role.
