UGL Regional Linx (UGLRL): A subsidiary of UGL, headquartered in Orange, NSW, with regional depots throughout the state. We manage the CRN – Country Regional Network, ensuring safe transportation of people and goods across NSW.
Job PurposeProvide input and oversight to pre-planning and construction delivery to achieve project time and budget objectives. Successfully lead the project delivery process and drive completion of work in accordance with TAO requirements. Deliver works that fully satisfy the UGLRL's and the Client's expectations of time, cost, safety and environmental objectives. Additionally, managing site subcontractors and suppliers to complete projects.
Key Responsibilities- Define and fulfil UGLRL TAO Obligations for construction in line with UGL procedures, TfNSW requirements, relevant codes and standards, and industry best practise.
- TAO requirements and quality
- Review and arrange the approval designs as construction.
- Accountable for all construction management to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications.
- Accountable for design adherence or controlled changes in line with UGLRL procedures.
- Define and implement quality assurance systems and processes required to fulfil TAO (construction) requirements. Act as technical representative and nominated signatory for all hold and witness points.
- Any task directed by line management inline with experience and skillset.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Structures).
- Chartered Engineering Status, working towards, or with intention to apply.
- Rail Infrastructure Workers Card "RIW", plus relevant track access competencies (this training can be provided by UGLRL, but is a mandatory requirement for successful completion of probationary period).
- NSW Construction Industry Safety Induction "White Card" (this training can be provided by UGLRL, but is a mandatory requirement for successful completion of probationary period).
- Current Class 1 (Minimum) Driving License
- 3-7 years' post graduate experience with 1+ years site based
- Demonstrated delivery of minor/major projects to program and budget specifications in a leadership role.
