Senior Research Development OfficerAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research Development Officer to support the growth and success of our research activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice to researchers on funding opportunities, developing grant applications, and coordinating research activities across the institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice to researchers on funding opportunities and develop grant applications
  • Coordinate research activities across the institution, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among researchers
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote research excellence and impact
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., research management, business administration)
  • At least 5 years of experience in research development or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with researchers, staff, and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Knowledge of funding opportunities and grant application processes
