Expert Economic Policy Advisor

As a key member of the economic strategy division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Queensland's economic future by delivering expert advice and innovative policy solutions.
- Support the executive director in leading and managing team responsibilities.
- Collaborate with government agencies to influence policy agendas and deliver sound public policy.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to address complex economic issues.
- Provide strategic direction for research, analysis, and economic policy advice.
- Oversee report preparation, economic modelling, and policy submissions.
- Represent Queensland Treasury on intergovernmental committees.
- Proven ability to lead and provide expert analysis on complex economic policies.
- Strong judgement and authority to manage client requirements effectively.
- Demonstrated capability in preparing complex reports within tight timeframes.
- Experience coaching junior staff to build a motivated team.
