Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Digital Transformation Leader to join our team at GPC Global Technology Center. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the implementation of our technology strategy and execution for our digital platforms, aligning with our product strategy and meeting our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the cross-functional GPC team to implement the strategy and roadmap for modernizing digital e-commerce platforms.
  • Implement the technology platforms architecture and execute on a roadmap to support the build-out of new commerce-related capabilities needed for the unified commerce strategy.
  • Oversee engineering accountability for the Product Domain from a Product Search/Lookup standpoint.
  • Responsible for delivery and support of the Platform.
  • Responsible for simplifying the complexity of current Search platforms and reducing technical debt and optimal total cost of ownership.
  • Partner with peer leaders to accelerate and embed agile methodologies across the organization to increase customer-backed problem-solving, increase pace of solution delivery, accelerate innovation, and to enhance cross-functional collaboration.
  • Recruit, manage, and motivate a team of engineers to develop best-in-class solutions.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in software engineering delivery (including 3+ years in a leadership role).
  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering fields, or equivalent work experience.
  • Consistent track record of leadership, teamwork, and delivering high-impact results.
  • Extensive experience building enterprise-grade systems/applications supporting business priorities.
  • Experience managing 15+ FTE teams of internal and extended delivery resources.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms.
  • Technical Leadership experience with Java Script (React) and languages.
  • Experience in setting up and working with component-based frontend architecture.
  • Experience with Graph QL and related technologies.
  • Experience with public cloud offerings is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively share technical information, and communicate technical issues and solutions to all levels of business.
  • Able to juggle multiple projects - can identify primary and secondary objectives, prioritize time, and communicate timelines to team members.
  • Exceptional communication skills, team building, and associate growth and development experience.
