The Role

We are seeking an experienced R&D Portfolio Lead to join our team at the Global Head Office in Warriewood. As a key member of our innovation team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our innovation program, enabling and enhancing our innovation capabilities in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of innovation governance procedures, processes, and tools.
  • Develop operating models to increase globalization of innovation projects, focusing on Asia Pacific and China market requirements.
  • Lead specific technical innovation projects from idea to commercialization.
  • Establish partnerships and co-development projects with strategic suppliers or organizations with complementary capabilities.
  • Ensure effective reporting and analytics to track innovation stories and drive business outcomes.
  • Drive sku rationalization with profitability and strategic priorities in mind.
  • Support organizational capability development in project and portfolio management.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a solid track record of prioritization and delivery of outcomes. You will possess exceptional communication and people influencing skills, with the ability to synthesize and represent complex information. A positive and collaborative working relationship with teams across the business is essential.

Requirements

  • Strong background in process excellence/Lean Six Sigma.
  • Exceptional skills in Excel and practical experience with developing and reporting metrics.
  • Previous experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry is highly regarded.
