Role Overview
In this pivotal position, reporting to the Chief R&D and Quality Officer, you will significantly contribute to the innovation landscape at PharmaCare, enhancing our innovation initiatives within a dynamic FMCG setting. While our offices span the globe, your role will be based at our Global Head Office, facilitating direct engagement with senior leadership and key decision-makers.
This position not only grants you a vital role in shaping our innovation strategies but also empowers you to influence and elevate the organization’s innovation capabilities.
- Oversee the Innovation Governance framework, ensuring continuous improvement of processes and tools.
- Develop operational models to enhance the globalization of innovation projects, particularly focusing on the Asia Pacific and China markets.
- Lead specific technical innovation initiatives from conception through to commercialization.
- Establish partnerships and co-development projects with strategic suppliers or organizations that complement our capabilities.
- Implement reporting and analytics to monitor our innovation initiatives, emphasizing profit contribution and return on investment.
- Drive SKU rationalization aligned with profitability and strategic objectives.
- Support the development of organizational capabilities in project and portfolio management through training and knowledge sharing.
- Identify and secure grant funding for innovation projects and infrastructure.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- A proven track record in prioritizing and delivering successful outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, concise messages.
- A collaborative approach, fostering positive working relationships across various teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- A self-motivated individual who is adaptable to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of process excellence methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma, is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Experience in the food or pharmaceutical sectors is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience in developing and reporting metrics.
