Program Director Job Overview

The Program Director is responsible for the overall success and quality of the program, ensuring a positive impact on members, staff, and school partnerships within the school and community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of an OST (Out of School Time) program.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to ensure all funding requirements are met and high-quality programming is delivered to members.
  • Ensure the assigned Boys & Girls Club of Metro Queens' program is a safe and supportive environment where children can reach their full potential.
  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner and maintain appropriate boundaries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required (preference in Education or Social Work).
  • At least 2 years of director experience.
  • At least 7 years' experience managing staff.
  • At least 3 years' experience working in After School and implementing lessons.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with program staff, school, members, and community partners.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Relocation: Required to relocate to South Richmond Hill, NY 11419 before starting work.
