Child Maternal Health Program Assistant

Job Description:
The Maternal Health Project Support Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the Department of Health and Wellbeing's objectives to enhance outcomes for Aboriginal families. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality coordination and support for the Child Maternal Health Continuity of Care Protocol Program.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining effective systems and processes, providing administrative and project support, and assisting with data collection, reporting, and research to address complex and sensitive issues. The coordinator will work closely with the Child Maternal Health Leadership team to contribute to the delivery of key initiatives and provide executive-level support.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate executive support for the Child Maternal Health Continuity of Care Protocol Program.
- Develop and coordinate systems and processes within Aboriginal Health to ensure quality administration across the program.
- Provide administrative, research, and project support services, including email management, report preparation, data collection, and analysis to assist with issue resolution.
- Support the Child Maternal Health Leadership team in delivering projects and initiatives and provide administrative services such as word and excel processing.
- Participate as an integral team member of the Aboriginal Health Unit contributing to the Department of Health and Wellbeing business plan.
