Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in a part-time, temporary role.

As the Support Worker, you will:

  • Assist staff with planning, delivery and evaluation of effective young parenting programs, flexible learning education programs and other programs for vulnerable youth.
  • Organise transport for clients and drive a vehicle under supervision.
  • Contribute to case management of clients in a health and education setting.
  • Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide information and support to clients to ensure their successful participation in programs under supervision.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities.

No formal educational or vocational qualifications are required. This is an entry-level opportunity suitable for those taking a gap year or unsure about their future career direction.

To be successful in this role, you will use your sound interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to build positive relationships with young people and their families while maintaining confidentiality.
