The Area Manager position involves leading a team of professionals and staff, offering a unique experience living and working locally. As an experienced operator, you will inspire your team to deliver outstanding customer experiences while maintaining a streamlined operation.

The Key Responsibilities

  • Manage & lead the running of all site aspects
  • Demonstrate understanding of budget management, food costing, waste management, and site safety knowledge
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Follow company health, safety, and security procedures
  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of chefs, trades, and facility staff
  • Manage client and resident expectations

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience managing a medium to large site with knowledge of culinary and cleaning services in settings like hotels or hospitality venues
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience with financial reporting and commercial contract management
  • Proven background in delivering profitable business results
  • Ability to drive stakeholder engagement and deliver superior service levels
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety protocols
  • Knowledge of HACCP principles
  • Ability to adapt quickly to ongoing business needs
