Site Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Site Operations Manager to lead and manage the running of all aspects of our remote sites in Australia. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing budgets, food costing, waste management, and site safety knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing a medium to large site with knowledge of both culinary and cleaning services. They will be responsible for delivering a high expectation of a premium experience, leading a large team of chefs and facility staff, and managing the expectations of both clients and residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the running of all aspects of the sites
  • Experience managing budgets and demonstrated understanding of food costing, waste management and food/site safety knowledge
  • Deliver to a high expectation of a premium experience
  • Follow company health, safety, and security procedures always
  • Lead, manage and motivate a large team of chefs and facility staff
  • Manage the expectations of both clients and residents

Requirements:

  • Previous experience managing a medium to large site with knowledge of both culinary and cleaning services
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building abilities
  • Drive a positive team culture
  • Experience with financial reporting and be commercial and contract focused
  • Demonstrated background of delivering profitable business results
  • Ability to drive stakeholder engagement and deliver superior service levels
  • Display excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills whilst thinking on your feet
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety, a strong commitment to safety to ensure targets are safely achieved
  • Sound Knowledge of HACCP
  • Ability to adapt quickly to ongoing business needs
