Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to fill a Career Coach position.

About the Job

This role will involve supporting individuals with disability, injury or health conditions as they prepare for a meaningful career.

  • The successful candidate will guide people through the job-readiness journey, from the first conversation to job application and interview preparation.
  • We are looking for someone who can empower individuals to take control of their future and feel ready to step into the workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with clients to plan their next career steps and provide support to find the right job.
  2. Build strong relationships with clients to understand their goals, strengths and support needs.
  3. Provide tailored coaching and regular check-ins to maintain motivation and progress.
  4. Connect participants with upskilling opportunities, hands-on experience and group-based activities.
  5. Collaborate with community services to open pathways to employment and training.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Employment or Human Services (desired).
  • Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury or health conditions.
  • A proven track record of meeting KPIs and creating client-focused employment and skills plans.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of disability legislation, support strategies and labour market trends.
