We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Career Coach to join our team, supporting people with disability, injury or health conditions as they prepare for a meaningful career.
You will guide clients through the job-readiness journey from initial conversation to job application and interview preparation, empowering them to take control of their future and feel ready to step into the workforce.
Your Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their goals, strengths and support needs, providing tailored coaching and regular check-ins to maintain motivation and progress.
- Build strong relationships with clients, connecting them with upskilling opportunities, hands-on experience and group-based activities to enhance their employability.
- Work collaboratively with employers and community services to open pathways to employment and training, championing the values of inclusion, empowerment and person-centred practice.
- Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
As a Career Coach, you bring empathy, energy and a strong drive to make a difference in people's lives.
With experience or a genuine passion for employment services, you're confident supporting people, building trust and guiding them toward meaningful and sustainable careers.
You're outcomes-focused, highly organised and thrive in a fast-paced, people-first environment.
Essential Criteria- Qualifications in Employment or Human Services (e.g. Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work) - desirable.
- Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury or health conditions.
- Proven ability to meet KPIs and create client-focused employment and skills plans.
- Confident in marketing clients to employers and facilitating group programs.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of disability legislation, support strategies and labour market trends.
- Current Driver's License - essential.
