IT Support Specialist

About the Role

You will be our first point of contact, providing technical support and advice to resolve typical IT problems in a dynamic company. This role is challenging and exposes you to a busy helpdesk/desktop support environment.

This is a full-time position with competitive salary options available from multiple sites.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyse, diagnose and resolve problems efficiently
  • Provide expert technical support to ensure smooth system and network services operation
  • Log, maintain and respond to support requests in our IT Helpdesk Service Desk
  • Identify requests requiring additional expertise and escalate for resolution promptly
  • Undertake IT onboarding and offboarding processes successfully
  • Assist with computer software installations and supply of IT peripherals as needed

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Prior experience in helpdesk/desktop support, focusing on investigating, analysing and providing solutions for clients effectively
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritise and log support requests meeting deadlines, along with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for concise messaging
  • Knowledge of network and IT infrastructure including local and wide area networking
  • Experience with personal computers, mobile and data services, computer networks and communication technology
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Relevant qualification in information technology or similar
  • 2+ years of demonstrated relevant experience
