Job Title:

Laboratory Coordinator Teaching

Key Responsibilities:
  • We deliver high-quality laboratory experiences for undergraduate students in biology.
  • Our team develops innovative experiments and activities for biology practical courses, collaborating with academic staff.
  • Lab technicians are supervised and mentored by us, providing training and support to ensure efficient laboratory operations.
  • We manage laboratory resources, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols to ensure a safe learning environment.
  • We provide administrative support for first-year biology subjects.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in science is required, majoring in Botany, Ecology, Genetics, Zoology, or other biological sciences.
  • Experience in a technical laboratory role and managing a technical team in a complex environment is essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills, task prioritization, and meeting deadlines are crucial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to develop constructive working relationships across diverse groups, are vital.
  • The ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex biological and technical problems efficiently is necessary.
  • Good technical writing skills and administrative support capabilities are also required.
